Annie is a Clinical Herbalist and Yoga Therapist and is pleased to offer Herbal Health and Yoga Therapy consultations in person, via skype and by telephone. Her primary educational background is in therapeutic yoga, herbalism, and Ayurveda. She has over 25 years experience as a family, community and clinical herbalist. Annie received an Master Herbalist Degree from the American College of Herbal Sciences and has studied with herbalists Jeanne Rose, the Late Micheal Moore and Ayurvedic master and scholar Dr David Frawley. Annie Is a member of the American Herbalist Guild.
A Yoga Therapist and Yoga Teacher in the tradition of T, Krishnamacharyia and TKV Desikachar Annie’s most influential teachers include Menika Desikachar, Dr Amy Wheeler, Chase Bossart, and Radha Sundararajan. Annie is a 500 e-ryt yoga teacher registered with the Yoga Alliance and a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She continues her study with yoga therapist Anita Claney of Arizona Healing Yoga.

Herbal Health Consultations
Annie Jones is a clinical herbalist and is available for herbal health consultations. When you schedule an appointment, Annie will send you an Intake Form. Please complete this form and mail or e-mail it back to her at least two days prior to your consultation.
During the initial consultation we will discuss your health concerns, symptoms, and health goals. These may be acute or long-term issues, or you may want to learn about ways to support your general health. We will review your general well-being, body system’s health and function, medical history, family health, any test results, other health care, diet and lifestyle. Through this detailed discussion we can gain an understanding of your health picture, the potential causes and roots of health imbalance, and how herbal medicine may be helpful to you. What is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga therapy is a unique application of yoga in which the student, working with the teacher, is given a custom-designed practice to improve overall health and address specific conditions, illnesses or diseases.
A practice may include exercises/postures, breathing, sound, gestures, visualization, guided self-inquiry and meditation. Each person’s practice in individualized and unique to that individual and can be designed in an infinite number of combinations.
The student’s practice is non-invasive, progresses over time, and complements allopathic and alternative healing modalities. By applying yoga’s tools in a manner that is both comfortable and appropriate for daily practice, A Yoga Therapy Practice is specifically designed for your situation and goals. Yoga therapy can help you:

The initial consultation usually lasts between 90 minutes to 2 hours and will include your first yoga therapy practice and/or herbal and health suggestions.

The cost is $60.00 per hour. The initial consultations range from $60 – $90.00 and usually average 90 minutes to 2 hours. Follow up consultations are generally 30 – 60 minutes long. Herbs and herbal formulas not included.
A limited number of scholarships, trade and sliding fees may be available for those with financial need.
