Hello Friends,

Spring is a busy time on the farm and in the gardens.  Today we get to take a break.  It’s been snowing all day, and as I write this the snow is beginning to stick……Yes!  in late May!  We often get frost or snows as late as early June.  I personally would rather have the snow over a hard freeze.  The plants love it!  Just wait, after the storm new life in the form of wildflowers, seedlings, perennial herbs and wildlife of all kinds will spring forth to offer us life.  We gratefully accept it.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers.  And a special thanks to those who participate in the Herbal Share Program.  Because of your support we were able to enlarge the greenhouse this spring.  A greenhouse is an essential element to successful gardening in the north country we call home.  Thank you!
