 Thursdays May 11 – June 15th, 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Saturday June 17th, 9 am to 4 pm

Join clinical herbalist and wildcrafter Annie Jones as we explore local medicinal plants. In this 6-week class you will gain a solid foundation in herbalism for personal and family use. Students will;

  •  Build a materia medica of 30-40 local medicinal plants including plant identification, stewardship, and harvesting for the most effective and potent use.
  •  Learn how the above herbs can treat many acute and chronic illnesses including respiratory infections, digestive illness, ear infections, sore throats, auto-immunity, first aid, menstrual issues and skin treatments.
  •  Get hands-on instruction on how to prepare and use a variety of herbal preparations including fresh tinctures, percolation tinctures, infused oils, salves, glycerites, teas, and syrups.
  •  Build a booklet of herbal formulas for your reference and personal use including an introduction to the basics of individual formulation.

Cost of class $175 for Members and $200 for non-members. Cost includes all handouts. A material fee may apply.
